How to use Dermalize Sterile Absorbent PADS
Before you begin applying the Dermalize PAD, ensure your hands are washed thoroughly and wear clean surgical gloves to maintain hygiene. Start by gently cleaning the newly tattooed area and the surrounding skin, then pat it completely dry. Once the skin is clean and dry, apply a very thin layer of organic butter directly onto the tattoo. For optimal results, we highly recommend using Dermalize Miracle Butter, as it is specifically formulated to work efficiently with our PADs. After applying the butter, place a Dermalize absorbent PAD directly onto the tattooed area. Secure the PAD firmly by applying Dermalize Protective Tattoo Film all around it over the edges of the PAD. Repeat this application process with fresh PADs as needed in the following hours or the next day, if the tattoo is still exuding fluids. Please note that Dermalize Sterile Absorbent PADs are for single use only and should be disposed of responsibly according to local regulations. For storage, keep the pads in a cool and dry place, away from heat or humidity. This product does not contain latex.

How to Use Dermalize Absorbent Shields
Before you begin applying the Dermalize Shield, ensure your hands are washed thoroughly and wear clean surgical gloves to maintain hygiene. Start by gently cleaning the newly tattooed area and the surrounding skin, then pat it completely dry. Once the skin is clean and dry, apply a very thin layer of an organic butter directly onto the tattoo. For optimal results, we highly recommend using Dermalize Miracle Butter, as it is specifically formulated to work efficiently with our SHIELD. After applying the butter, place a Dermalize absorbent shield directly over the tattooed area. Secure the shield firmly with tape, ideally using Dermalize® NON-WOWEN Tape if available, to ensure it stays in place. Continue to replace the used shield with a fresh one every few hours or daily as needed, until the tattooed skin is no longer exuding fluids and feels completely dry. This drying process usually takes approximately 24 to 48 hours after getting your tattoo. Once the tattoo is dry, it is typically ready for your regular tattoo healing routine. We recommend considering the use of Dermalize® Protective Tattoo film, such as PRO, TOTAL BLACK, or PHANTOM Ultra-thin, for the subsequent healing stages. Please note that Dermalize absorbent shields are designed for single use only and should be properly disposed of according to local regulations. For optimal storage, keep the shields in a cool and dry location.
WHY CHOOSE DERMALIZE PAD?
Its use is extremely simple: it gets placed upon the fresh tattoo with the aid of Dermalize Protective Tattoo Film to fix it on the skin for the first 24 hours, while the tattoo is still bleeding copiously, and then it gets replaced by Dermalize Protective Tattoo Film only, as usual.
